Ok here I am gazing into the laptop screen on google typing SecondLife. My mind was racing with excitement and thoughts of what this virtual world would hold for me. I was new to the world of internet to be quite honest as the most I had ever done really was try out msn. Blinking away I watched slowly as the screen loaded and these amazing images was thrust into my face. My mind was spinning and my mouth was smiling. I had always had a very good imagination so the pictures entered my brain with ease.
Staring intensely I followed the prompts on the website for creating my new account....still all very new to me and my mind was a whirlwind of thoughts. User-name it asked..hmmm what could I call myself? It did not take long for me to decide on what I wanted to be called as Spirit meant alot to me due to my fanatic interest in the paranormal. There next step ...character which was called an Avatar also new to my knowledge. Well I picked the best looking one which at that stage of SL was not great at all I can tell you lol! A few more clicks and I was confirmed and registered......now time for the download......
Click..yes...click...yes...downloading...uhu yes....tum tee tum....thumbs on table tapping and thoughts like..."hmmm I bet this is going to be so naff"minutes later it read...INSTALLED! Ready to open!
I hesitated a moment my finger hovering above the mouse button...."I wonder what this is going to be like"?....CLICK!............
